How to sell internationally on eBay
Selling your items to international buyers is one of the best ways to quickly expand your business. When you list on eBay and choose to ship globally, your item will automatically appear in search results on eBay in over 100 countries, free of charge.
The easiest way to sell internationally
If customs forms, import charges, currency exchange rates, and international shipping fees leave you scratching your head, then you’re not alone. With eBay’s Global Shipping Program (GSP), you can simply send international packages to eBay’s US-based Global Shipping Center and the Global Shipping Program will manage these complexities, as well as provide end-to-end tracking until your item reaches the buyer.
Do I have to use the eBay Global Shipping Program to sell internationally?
No, you don’t have to use eBay’s Global Shipping Program if you want to sell internationally. You can choose to list your item globally without being enrolled in the Global Shipping Program, but calculation of international shipping fees, currency exchange rates, import charges, and varied country customs forms are the Sellers’ responsibility.
If you aren’t very familiar with international shipping requirements, then it may be best for you and for your buyer to let eBay take care of it.
