Thought I was ordering the entire part not just the flap but watched the You Tube video and saw how easy it was to replace. Did it in a few short mins and it works great. I recommend this item over replacing the entire part to save $$. didn't work

replacement flapper did not seat properly (looked correct but did not seat properly) so ended up buying a new one that was the complete Check Valve Cover/flapper. Must admit when I bought I did not read the title well and thought I was getting the whole thing. Spend the extra $5 and get the complete Valve cover and ALOT less hassle.Read full review

Pretty Good - one minor concern.

The product replaces the flapper in the original Jandy valve. The only concern I would have is that although the original pin in the valve is stainless steel, the one supplied in the kit appears to be made of plastic. I would question the longevity of the replacement pin. I used the original pin and thus avoided and potential issue.Read full review

Good iem, but lower the price

Could be cheaper, but beats replacing then whole thing, Careful taking out the pin. Sometimes the problem is not the flapper but the spring which may have gotten weaker over time.

No need to replace the whole valve

Perfect fit for my Jandy system and cheaper than buying the whole valve cover. I have had no issue with the red plastic pin rather than the stainless steel pin. My particular check valve that wears out is the one near the chlorinator and the spring on this one wears out exactly the same as the OEM model. Installation requires a screwdriver and possibly pliers to remove the pin.Read full review
