Programmed right out of the box
Replaced a similar unit 7 years old perfectly. Behaves exactly as the original.

No need to replace the whole valve
Perfect fit for my Jandy system and cheaper than buying the whole valve cover. I have had no issue with the red plastic pin rather than the stainless steel pin. My particular check valve that wears out is the one near the chlorinator and the spring on this one wears out exactly the same as the OEM model. Installation requires a screwdriver and possibly pliers to remove the pin.
