Practically goof proof!

Had this camera for nearly a month. Have no complaints what so ever. As this review is titled "Practically goof proof!" I have to say it truly is. The quality of picture this camera takes is amazing. I had been holding off for nearly 1yr. unable to decide should I buy it or what. So glad I finally did. The pictures look so professional and it is very easy to use. Although I have not gone into manual mode and personal settings to customize the aperture, shutter priority, and manual exposure settings yet; the portrait, landscape, action, and macro presets are great for someone who wants to just use it as a point and shoot camera. I used it to take pictures at a wedding and I got some excellent pictures.

The only CON I would have to say so far is the touch screen is very sensitive and it is easy to tap it and make changes to general settings or jump into sub menus you don't intend to makes changes on the settings.

I have had Minolta, Cannon, and Nikkon over the years and have to say I prefer the Cannon brand more over.

Great Camera, terrible accessories

Do NOT bother with this set up. You will be replacing most if not all of the accessories as soon as possible. Find just the body of the camera somewhere else, otherwise you will be fighting with a terrible tripod, you'll be worried about your camera in the cheap bag, and you won't be able to fir much of anything on that tiny SD card. I could have saved myself 100+ bucks by looking for just the body and I could have put that money towards the replacements I have already gone out and bought.Read full review...

Just what I wanted

I was looking for a few features for night photos in a camera that was reasonably priced. The T5i is just such a camera, great for someone learning. It has a good set of features. Would have liked to know a bit about the history of the camera, how heavily it had been used for example. But initially I am happy with my purchase. Photo is with a 75-300 mm zoom.Read full review...

Not Quite As Advertised

The camera is easy enough to use, but the problem is that the additional "lenses" aren't standalone lenses, but lens accessories and, worse yet, there are no adaptors to affix them to the lens provided.Read full review...

Great camera, unnecessary accessories.

I'm absolutely happy with my camera purchase! But, the only thing is the quality of the accessories. The extra lenses are plastic and many of the connections are as well. That is slightly concerning because I am afraid that I will strip the inner lining of my 18-55mm lens. Also, there are many smaller accessories that I have set aside because they are not needed. But, all in all I am very pleased with my camera! Read full review...

My Portraits Look so Much Better with the Canon T5i.

This camera is good for someone who is wanting to invest into photography more. It has some nice features and is pretty easy to figure out after watching a couple tutorial videos. I love using mine with a 50mm lens and my portraits look so much better with the Canon T5i.Read full review...

Great for filming!

I am a film student and this camera is perfect! The quality along with the flip out screen is a plus. The price is great with all that comes with it. Even though it was refurbished it feels brand new and all that came in the case was individually wrapped as well. I recommend!! Read full review...

Bang for your buck!!

After looking around for some serious deals on this camera, i finally found a good one for a decent price! Although it's not as updated as the t6i it's almost the same so i'd say to just save your cash & just purchase the t5i because there's no big difference. The camera is lighter than i thought and the kit came w/no missing pieces! All the items came well packaged & protected w/o any scratches. Lovely camera overall, definitely recommended!Read full review...

The best investment I ever made.

I’ve had it for a year and no trouble. You’re not gonna get a better value than this right here. I recommend 100%. I am so in love with my camera.

One Cool Semi Pro Camera.

The T5i (700D) is a solid performer, I bought just the body from a well known camera retailer some months ago, having just 5000 shutter actuations. Body in mint condition. I can absolutely recommend the T5i, even to a pro user, image results are amazing, ease of use is brilliant, it's light too. And, it will take EF and EF S lenses, so you have an amazing choice of great lenses to choose from.
The T5i an amazing Canon Camera, you must get one.
