Unreliable.

I installed the alternator in my car and started the engine and it worked fine. I drove the car a couple miles and it quit working. I removed it and carefully disassembled it. I found that the commutator was dirty and not making contact. I reassembled it and reinstalled it. I started the engine and the gauge was reading fourteen volts. I have not road tested it yet. I'm not sure what to expect.Read full review

Best alternator

Was having problems keeping my battery charge with the other alternator put this on I’m having no problem running my stereo.

Waiting on plug now to see how it works.

Only problem I have is had to order a plug for the 4 wires. Would be nice to have the plug to come with it.
