Updates to default settings for calculated shipping
Your listings with calculated shipping will default to eBay Labels discounted rates
Starting May 15, select sellers’ listings that display calculated shipping will default to showing eBay Labels discounted shipping rates.
Shipping costs can play a big role in buyers' decisions to make a purchase. As an eBay seller, you benefit from access to eBay Labels discounted shipping rates—on average 33% off retail rates.* With this upcoming change, we’re making it easier for you to pass these savings on to your buyers, by defaulting to the most competitive shipping rates. This can make your listings more attractive and help draw in more buyers.
To get the discounted rate that will be displayed on your listings, make sure to purchase your shipping labels through eBay Labels.
Please note that this change will only apply to sellers who’ve been notified by email.
You can always manage your calculated shipping rates and reset your default settings.
