When you’re ready to make a purchase, just select spendable funds at checkout. Don’t have enough funds to cover the entire purchase amount? You can combine them with another form of payment to complete checkout.
Enroll in spendable funds
Eligible sellers will be invited to enroll in spendable funds via email and My eBay messages. Just click the link provided in your email or My eBay message and enroll in a few quick steps.
For account security, you must verify your account and enable 2 step verification, if you haven’t enabled it already. You must also accept the Balance Terms and Conditions to enroll.
Once enrollment is complete, you can start using your spendable funds at checkout right away.*

Use your spendable funds
Here’s how to use your spendable funds after you’ve enrolled:
1. Add items to your cart
Tip: Your checkout experience won’t change. You can either use your spendable funds on purchases right away or save them securely for later.
Request a payout at anytime
After you’ve enrolled in spendable funds, you’ll be able to request a payout of all or part of your Available funds on demand. Simply select Withdraw in the Payments tab in Seller Hub or Payments in My eBay. Give us up to 12 hours after you enroll to enable your account to receive payouts on demand.
If you prefer to schedule your payouts, you may select from weekly, biweekly or monthly options after you enroll. You’ll still be able to request a payout of all or part of your available funds on demand ahead of your next scheduled payout. You may also schedule payouts daily, but you’ll only have the option to request payouts on demand if you’ve chosen a weekly or longer payout schedule.
FAQs
Why haven’t I received an invitation to enroll in spendable funds?
If you haven’t received a notification to enroll yet, there is no other action required at this time. We are notifying sellers whose current use of features and tools is compatible with spendable funds.
Am I able to use my spendable funds to buy anything on eBay?
You can use your spendable funds to purchase most categories of merchandise on eBay, but some categories are excluded. Please visit the payment methods policy for more information.
Are there any spending limits for spendable funds?
There is a per-transaction purchase limit of $2,000, and a daily purchase limit of $2,000. You may not exceed $5,000 in purchases using your spendable funds over a rolling 30-day period.
Is there any cost to enroll in spendable funds or additional fees required in order to use it?
There are no costs or additional fees associated with spendable funds. It’s free to enroll in and use spendable funds.
Can I use my spendable funds to buy items from sellers in countries outside of the US?
Spendable funds can be used for purchases in supported categories for listings on ebay.com. They are not available for purchases in certain restricted categories or from eBay partner sites, such as ebay.ca, ebay.co.uk, ebay.de, etc.
