Absolutely superb card.
I replaced an earlier version of almost the same card (same memory, same speed, earlier chip set) and didn't expect a dramatic improvement, however, it is a dramatic improvement and surprised me just how much a chip set revision can amount to.
Basically, if you want something that will perform well enough for 90% of 'todays' graphics demands, then this is a good buy. If you want to 'jump' the gun, I would caution you to think twice, because that is how I ended up with the earlier chip set revision! I was lucky that I was able to get a card for a reasonable price that did get me where I thought I would be by 'jumping the gun' in the first place!
GTAV performs well, MS FsimX performs well (max details) BFIV etc. all seem to be working well.. My CAD packages are looking good, video rendering is good, design and photo tools (I use Corel PSP) are good.
All in all a good performer with multiple video support, lower operating temps than the previous ones (so I don't need two massive fans moving air over it) and easy to configure. Read full review...

still an excellent choice
this is a score....if you are not a rabid gamer this card will do it for you...currently running 2 24" monitors @1080p, and have no trouble streaming hd video (different streams on each)on both simultaneously...editing video, the rendering time has dropped quite a bit...graphics quality is excellent, video playback is liquid and natural-looking..as a filmmaker, I could not have picked a more results-oriented upgrade for my current system. highly recommended in the 2 gigabyte version. I usually buy from the edge of the down-slope in tech...it never made sense to me to spend a great deal more to do the job than was absolutely needed. unless you're the sort that has to ride the crest of the development wave and pay for it, this card is a very practical, economic choice.Read full review...
Great Bang for the Buck
For an card as old as this one, it still performs great at the $30 price point. You get playable fps in Apex, Minecraft, CS:GO and other games at medium/low without breaking the bank. Its a great starter video card.Read full review...

Working and simple card
Flawless and good card. Doesn't support UEFI GOP sadly, but a patched vBIOS w/UEFI GOP and flashing it will solve that easily.
Not bad for a oldie
Not bad bought this for a backup, Can play modern games at 900p on medium settings

great performance vs price
Value per $ the right spot. I have built many computers this year, one for me has the GTX 680. It is expensive and delivers some gains but not the right value per $. I bought one of these 550ti several years ago and after seeing the difference between 680 and 550ti, I built my wife' new computer with the 550ti. I will likely make hers sli now that I have two cards.Read full review...
It’s okay
It’ll run games but if you want power spend more money.

Old midrange card, fun to overclock
Not the best performer in 2020, though Fermi never fails to be a great overclocker!

Good card, but you might as well get a 6 series.
It's a fairly good card, I just wish I would have dished out the extra cash for a 6 series.
It runs very cool, and I have no problem running BF3 on ultra when paired with an 8 core Fx series CPU. It runs very quiet considering it has only 1 fan.Read full review...
