Great features and good quality

Our former unit in our remote location, was a 3-G and we now have 4 G phones. We changed out both the outside and inside antennas, and we went from 0-.5 bars signal strength to 3-4 bars instantly, and no longer drop calls. Also, our phones now actually ring instead of missing calls due to low signal.Read full review...

No problem with the refurbished unit.

There is one thing you should consider before you buy any booster, and a couple about the Wilson. First of all, just like satellite TV or Internet, the antenna has to have a clear shot at the tower. 700/800 mhz signals do NOT like trees. If you can't get above them or have a hole in them in the direction of the tower, it's not going to work.

As for the Wilson part, the repeater unit itself is very lightweight, indicating not much of a heatsink. And it does run hot. Mount it so it has air circulation all around it. The furnished coax is good quality, but the antenna's are really cheaply made pressed thin metal. They are inside radomes, so I guess that's not a real big deal. For my situation, the supplied 4 element LPDA didn't have enough gain, so I had to buy an 8 element yagi.

Bottom line is if I had to do it over again I'd buy the Surecall for 2 reasons. You can turn off the bands you don't need, reducing the power consumption and operating temp. And, it's got a real nice heatsink.

Cabin I-Phone 7 boost

My wife and I bought new I-Phone 7's. We previously had I-Phone 6's. At our cabin we always had 1 or 2 bars of service with the I-Phone 6's and received calls without issue. When we purchased I-Phone 7's service went to no service to 1 bar. For work I needed to receive on call calls. Needed a boost of service. Did research and felt Wilson Electronics weBoost 4G was a possible solution. Was a bit nervous to spend nearly $500 and find out it didn't work, but I did. Easy to install. To my amazement it worked great. Went from 1 bar to 3 and 4 bar coverage. Would highly recommend.Read full review...

Pretty good

We are using it in a marginal situation the outside antenna is mounted on a tower 25 feet above the ground at a level a 2 bar telephone call can be made. Inside the house the reception varies between one bar and four bars. Calls can be made but not consistently. This is being used on the AT&T network. The 4G LTE works great. I bought the unit for a friend of mine and installed it.Read full review...

Works in three rooms

Recently bought this. Had it for about a few weeks now and it does what it says but does not cover more than three rooms which is a downer, but still does the job. Recommend it to anyone not being able to make calls or has trouble with data in the house on their phone's this definatly fixes all that, dropped calls dissapear.Read full review...

Helps

Sitting in my kitchen I could not make or receive calls. Now I can.
Doing speed tests shows it does increase data speeds. Not a lot but some.
Much better to have the BOOST than having to run up stairs to take a phone call and web surfing is better.
It you buy one, do a soft set up first to make sure it is in the correct place before you tack down all the wire. Try it in several places before you finally decide the best location.

Easy to install and works well.

This product is relatively easy to install with the provided instructions and works very well, when properly installed. The outside antenna must be in a spot that has at least a little bit of service. With 2 bars at the outside antenna, our house went from zero bars through most of the house to at least 2 bars everywhere and 4-5 bars closer to the inside antenna. I would say the usable coverage area in my case is around 2000 to 2500 square feet. Calls were not dropped and were clear, and data speeds were decent as well. I would recommend this to anyone who needs signal boosted in their home or office, just make sure there is enough usable service outside to start with, if there is no service at all it likely will not work.Read full review...

Cell Phone Signal Booster Review

Easy to install. Started with 0-1 bar signal, now have 2-4 bars dependent on our location jnside the house. We live in a rural area that happens to be one of ATT dead spots, I am planning to purchase a splitter and install more panel antennas.Read full review...
