Quiet performance

I got this variable speed drive to periodically sync mission critical data to and it functions very well in that capacity, while keeping heat generation and energy use in check. Performance is comparable to other drives I have, operating at 7200rpm, but falls behind the 10k and 15k rpm drives. See hdparm results (HP XW9400 systems), below:
