Great hard drive for my main drive.It worked poorly,had vary slow speed for my computer.Has a lot of drive space to put my games on thanks!It's a sata2 so it won't work if u got only a sata1 in your computer.Or if your main drive is a ide it won't boot there's something wrong with the configuration u have to have it as a main system or not at all.Your have u have just a sata1 drive and a ide, that is if u don't want to use it as a operation system drive dam coputer's.So my conclusion is that u have to use it has a main drive unless u have another sata2 drive.The drive is going to fail quickly anyway don't get a dell!!!!!!Read full review...

First installed the new hard Drive. Then installed software.
I have HP desktop and I had order from HP the original software for $16.00.
When your installed, you have to follow the instruction from HP software and this operation take 3 to 4 hours.

Unsuccessful Install

Unable to get it to work. Not sure if was totally stripped, including the formatting, but couldn't get it to mount. Don't know if it works or not, but for $17., not really concerned.
