Warning: The MyCloud Home is not like a MyCloud EX NAS!

This device does not have the same features as a true NAS product such as MyCloud EX2 Ultra. If all you desire is a storage medium accessible by iPhone or iPad, then this works fine. Easy setup, quiet and fast. If you need a medium (video, data, photos etc.) storage device accessible to a smart TV big screen or Amazon Firestick you need a true NAS. I was unaware of this important feature (or actually lacking feature) and was stuck with a useless for me product. I suggest WD redo their advertising with warnings and not lump it together with their "real" NAS device (which by the way work great). Seems I am not alone in my dissatisfaction. Read full review...

Nifty little cloud server

Works great and its fast for uploading and downloading files. One downside is that you can't access your files with an NAS connection and from the web.

Great Plex Server. Not a NAS.

Excellent Plex server for movies and tv-shows if you have a SmartTV with a Plex client.
