The rack itself, once assembled, feels very sturdy and stable. Putting it together though is not that easy - especially with the screws not properly fitting and requiring significant force and a proper power/cordless drill. I would suggest not tightening anything until fully assembled since otherwise it can be hard to complete. Did not come with proper tool to screw in casters (small wrench needed). Also, once fully assembled it was uneven and I had to unscrew one of the casters to even out.Read full review

Very nice home server rack for cost
This 12U rack is easy to put together and feels pretty solid so far (server not yet mounted). Two minor issues: the top panel is a single unit only cut to accommodate the smallest depth setting and the casters have no locking mechanism on them. Be careful setting the screws as it’s easy to strip threads on the rack when building the frame. Locking casters should have been added; too cover blanks for extended depth would be a nice to have. The product came a little scratched up, and the frame was bent. However for the price it’s a great rack, and I was able to straighten the frame with a rubber mallet easy enough.
Would buy again Read full review

Simple and Satisfying!
I'm actually using this rack as an audio rack in my online radio studio, and it's absolutely perfect! I love the idea it's open so the equipment can breathe. It was a little rough to put together, but I finally got it. The directions as to which way the bars "front to back" go, is a little lacking, but overall I love it!Read full review

You will need a drill with a Phillips head bit.
This rack was larger than I had anticipated, but it just fits under my desk. While some assembly is required it goes together quickly once you get the hang of it. While a screwdriver will work a power drill will save your wrist with the number of screws required to assemble. Now I plan on rack mounting my future PC's to save floor space. Also the depth of the rack is adjustable for future growth. Read full review

12U Rack
This 12U Rack is of good quality. For myself, it was definitely worth the investment and time. Makes a great home lab and is currently being used my Cisco Lab. I would definitely recommend this rack and I am more than likely going to purchase a size larger in the future.Read full review

The instructions are confusing but once you get past that it's a solid rack. They say to use a screwdriver but I recommend an actual power drill from beginning to end to make it easier.

Nice design, tolerances are off as I had to trim a few pieces to fit but overall a sturdy rack. Might try a 15?
