Great price, very good product
If you have used TurboTax or any of other tax return software, you know why you should keep using it. These applications take a lot of the sting out of preparing taxes and do a lot of hand holding for most of the more complex portions and forms. If you don't find this software more advantageous to use than slogging through the IRS publications, then either are a tax expert already or your return is so complex that only an expert can help you.
I have tried other brands of this type of software, but return to TurboTax. Maybe it's just a personal preference, or the familiarity. Certainly not the cost, since you can either qualify for one of the free versions, or TurboTax has a tendency to rope you in for the more expensive editions.
I specifically bought this year's version because I had to do an Amended return (both Federal and State). If you've never done either one of these, I don't recommend you go it alone with the IRS publications, which were written by neither an English teacher nor a mathematician, but the worst amalgam of both. I got it at a great price on eBay, but would very likely have paid the full price if necessary. Read full review

The 2019 version of Turbo Tax Deluxe easily imports data from my banks and brokerage houses saving me the extra cost of purchasing Turbo Tax Premier.(which I had done the last few years) or the time to manually enter all the financial information in the Basic version.. Works like it is supposed to work. The North Carolina State download worked fine but is not free to file. Boo. Federal is free so that worked great. I've been using Turbotax for many years with great success. This purchase was used for an amended return after I lost my original software due to a hard drive crash and didn't think to keep the license code for my original disc. Works great just like every other year.
The software was sitting for a few days. I finally got a chance to put on the Windows 10 machine, got it up to date and then installed Turbo Tax. TurboTax Saves Time and Money
TurboTax is very thorough and covers things I wouldn't know about otherwise. I really like that it transfers information automatically from the previous year's taxes so I don't have to hunt for it myself, which saves me a lot of time.
