Good 2nd garage door opener - works great.
Works great, since it is the exact same type of garage door opener I already owned. Nice to now have two garage door openers instead of one.

Great Value for the price
These replaced the original ones that came with the opener in 1987. Those ones stopped opening the door due to faulty contacts. These have micro switches so the contact is positive every time. They were only supposed to work for openers made after 1997 but work on mine. The only downfall is the range isn't as great as the ones they replaced. I have to be closer to the door for them to work. Read full review

Works great with my 30+ year old garage door openers
I have 3 Craftsman GDO's that I put up in the mid-80's and I much prefer them to the new ones. I've had to replace several parts over the years but they still perform much better than the new "rolling code" style I have in my shop. Getting hard to find these old remotes that use dip-switches, but you don't have to do all the "learning" BS as with the new ones. Once the switches are set they don't change and you don't have to climb a ladder to hit the "learn" button any time you change remotes, just set the new one to the same code as the old one.Read full review

Good To Have A Spare
Wanted a spare garage door remote to exactly match the one I had so I could physically set a matching code inside the remote. Took just seconds with a small eyeglass screwdriver. It worked first push. Now I won't have to try to program a universal remote.Read full review

These are pretty well obsolete by now but still work well. They are easily programable to match your code on compatible models. Good to have spares!

Very please with this purchase.
Great quality. Takes less than one minute to set up for use. It is over priced but we have spent double this price on openers which were falsely advertised and never able to program. We are very pleased with this purchase.Read full review

Works Great, Couldn't Ask For Better
Works like a charm. Much easier to program than I thought. Pushed a button on the opener, waited a few seconds, pushed a button on the remote and the door opened. Opener works perfectly every time. Doesn't get better than that.Read full review
