Good value for the money!

I purchased this camcorder to replace an older JVC model. This camcorder is a good value for the money-it's a handy size and easy to use. It was ready to go right out of the box. Picture and sound quality are fine, the only issue I had was that at times it didn't seem to focus correctly. Nice for quick vids.

This has been working for my youtube videos lately....Studio Five One. I do music tutorials and other music stuff and needed a fairly priced gizmo. This is good, but I didn't however, like the mic level. The mic on this machine is not the best and cuts out/distorts when past a certain 'low' level of volume....which is a little challenging making music tutorial videos. But it's been working for what I need in a short time.........until I can afford a more quality one.Read full review...

Will work for me with tripod. New camera, known brand, at a good price!

Overall, I am happy with this product. However, the things to look out for when thinking about purchasing this camera are:

1. The 30gig hard drive only was able to save about 3 to 5 minutes of video when recorded in HD 1080.

2. The battery life did not seem to last that long before needing recharging.

3. You can not record in the highest resolution if you want to use the anti-motion option.

great camcorder

all bad things i read were bogus. red line,removed lens clear shipping protection, also n battery. no focus problem ,just wait for frame to turn green and its focused with out tripod. use class 10 memory and get great hd movies and pic's. i have large hands pulled back strap velcro cover and adjusted to my hand great fit.i can't remember any other complaints but i have none. love it.Read full review...

I Love this recorder... Cheap, easy and awesome

I bought this camera because my fiance's birthday is coming, ii had a big dilemma between this camera an other (more expensive, but with the same characteristics)

i choose because, first, the price, but i red all the stuff that it has, i was really impress.

A Good enough Cam for the Bucks takes great still's and good movies.

I bought the cam to film my RepRap..
It does do that fine. If not a bit short on memory.
My main thing sofar is it shows every finger print
or smudge on the body.
The remote control is nice if i ever figure it out.
The manual is clear as mud to me but hey what ever..

I bought this camera for my husband. Pictures are easy to take. Pictures are also clear. We took this on vacation days after receiving it and were able to use it with ease.
