I am SO glad I did!! Sheldon never ceases to amaze me and I can always count on a darn good belly laugh! Rag and Howard are tied for my 2nd place characters and then Penny and Leonard. There hasn't been a single episode that I haven't enjoyed and literally laughed out loud to!
I LOVE THIS SHOW and I'm a Faithful watcher of every episode!! I hope the shows stay on for a long time. If Sheldon (and I'm not certain of his real namme) hasn't won awards for his OUTSTANDING performances...HE SHOULD!! NO ONE deserves awards more than this man's performances!! The show is centered on five characters: roommates Leonard Hofstadter and Sheldon Cooper, two physicists who work at the California Institute of Technology (Caltech); Penny, a blonde waitress and aspiring actress who lives across the hall; and Leonard and Sheldon's equally geeky and socially awkward friends and co-workers aerospace engineer Howard Wolowitz and astrophysicist Rajesh Koothrappali. The geekiness and intellect of the four guys is contrasted for comic effect with Penny's social skills and common sense. Three other supporting characters have also been promoted to starring roles: Leslie Winkle, a physicist colleague at Caltech and, at different times, a lover of both Leonard and Howard; Bernadette Rostenkowski, Howard's fiancée, who is a microbiologist and part-time waitress alongside Penny; and Amy Farrah Fowler, a neurobiologist who joins the group after being matched to Sheldon on a dating website.Read full review...

Excellent TV series, even the reruns are fun to watch again and again!

Big Bang Theory is honestly one of the funniest, easiest to watch series out there.

For the faint of heart, be warned, there can, at times, be sexual humor (nothing too intense). This could lead to some 'birds and bees' conversations with your kids if they happen to be watching.

All in all, it's good fun that most everyone can relate to (everyone has a Sheldon in their family or circle of friends!)Read full review...

Great value with a few annoyances. The show is awesome!!

Having the whole set is great. The picture quality on the pilot however is awful, and every now and again the discs won't read even. I tried them in my other dvd player, same thing. No big deal they just need to be reloaded or ou can wait and they will start to work. Also every now and again, the discs skip throughout random places. Big Bang Theory

This series is definitely one of the best I've watched. It has a comical and intelligent humor, and is fun to watch more than once.

VERY funny series. i always get a great laugh out of the characters' antics

over all this is a great show, very funny. and has new things, situations and antics going on to keep one interested and laughing, as well as some different characters here and there, as well as other characters coming back now-and-then... unlike most sitcoms. which keeps this series both entertaining and funny. but also interesting.

PLEASE NOTE: with these box sets only season 2 has 4 discs, the rest have 3 discs. for some reason the manufacturer of these box sets put a 3 disc season in a case that holds 4 discs. so, when you open it and see one disc slot is empty... don't be alarmed, like i was, lol... nothing's wrong, every episode in each season is contained on just 3 discs. (except season 2, which does have 4 discs)

I bought this DVD collection because I watched a couple of episodes of "The Big Bang Theory" at my daughter's house while taking care of my grandsons. I was laughing so hard I nearly peed myself!! I decided I wanted to start the series from the beginning so I knew who was who and what's what!

What you pay for is what you get....

I wanted this DVD set for a camping trip my family took. I was going to get the DVD set regardless of the trip, but wanted it especially for the occasion. I payed a price that I thought was probably too good to be true, and that was partly the case. I was a little upset with the quality of some of the DVDs within a few of the seasons. The DVDs would skip so bad in the middle of certain episodes that I would have to skip the episode entirely. This was not the case for all of them, but I would say about half of them, which is upsetting. Maybe the DVDs need cleaned or maybe it was my DVD player, but if that was the case, why did the other half work fine? I will not send it back, or buy a new set as I have seen most of the episodes on tv anyway, but my overall satisfaction with the quality of the set is indifferent.Read full review...

Great value, good way to watch your favorite TV program. Would buy another

Why we bought this series was because we were just introduced to The Big Bang Theory and decided to see it from the beginning.
We had trouble so far with one disc from season two and went out and bought a replacement.
We have not completed watching the set waiting for a snowy night so we can light a fire and have some laughs.
We like buying discs of series so we do not have commercial breaks in the program.Read full review...
