An Old Favorite!

Wow! The memories! Here's a film that a parent can put in, and npt worry about leaving the room with the kids in front of the TV! Plus, it has yesterday's treatment of faith and the unexplained carried out in a respectful manner. All this and no swearing, innuendoes, or anything else objectionable! An excellent film! Timeless

Filmed in 1943, this film still brings tears and inspiration to many who watched it over and over. Jennifer Jones is absolutely marvelous as the young, religious peasant girl, Bernadette, living in Lourdes in the 1800's, who is visited by the Virgin Mary. By seeing this vision, she incurs the wrath of locals, and one man in particular, who is played by Vincent Price. This true, timeless story won Jones the Best Actress Oscar. exactly what i was looking for; great quality.

This VHS tape is exactly what i was looking for. I initially had trouble finding a decent copy. The quality of this tape was great.

this movie was one i remember seeing when iwas a yong boy iam 47 now i just had to have it it turn out i had rememberd alot of it it felt like i went back in time

i purchased this for an ole friend of mine,we went to grade school together in the 50's.She was thrilled,,,,everything was excellant,,,,,,

this was a gift and they tell me they are really enjoying it

i bought this for the mother and grandmother of a young man i know, they are really enjoying it and i imagine they will view it many times over the years.

I WAS INTRODUCED TO STORY FOUR YEARS AGO AND HAVE SHARED IT WITH FRIENDS AND FAMILY. THE STORY IS DONE SO WELL.
