Second Book in a Wonderful Series of 5

This is the second book in a series of 5. I actually bought books 3 and 4 for my son one day not knowing about the books. I picked one up one day when I was waiting on someone and ended up reading both the books we had in a day. I then went ebay and bought the this one and the other 2 to complete the series.
They are written for kids but I am an adult that reads a lot, and couldn't put them down. It was one of those rare books that when you are done you kind of miss the main character for a while!
