Love of Robert, & Clara Schumann was eternal.

Lovely acting & divine music. Katherine Hepburn played the role of Robert Schumann wife, & one of my favourites Paul Henreid played, Robert Schumann, both played their roles well.
The only thing that let this movie down, was the quality of the DVD. This was very disappointing, as it was blurry, & not much fun to watch. Looked as though it was recorded in the early days of moving pictures.
However, it was still nice to be able to hear Roberts favourite music TRAUMEREI ( REVERIE) also one of my favourites, played twice in the movie. So, if you are a Schumann fan, it’s still worthwhile watching.Read full review...
