The ICU book says it all!!!

I purchased the book mainly for its acid-base disorder section and its section on mechanical ventilation. As a paramedic student these seemed to be a lot of information missing from the Brady and Mosby textbooks. This book has been a crucial addition to my understanding of the human body. I recommend it to any nursing student and medical student or to anyone working in a hospital.Read full review...

Great book

I used this book during my fourth year ICU rotation and then again during my residency. It is a great book with nice physiological explanations that is aimed for students and residents.

disappointed to see someone's name written all around paper edges with a marker. the inside of book however looked brand new.
