A classic Western TV series

I loved this show as a kid when it aired originally, and I was delighted to find it available on DVD. Will Sonnett, as played by Walter Brennan, is a colorful character whose integrity and love for his grandson are always clearly visible. His catchphrase "no brag, just fact" became part of my family's regular vocabulary. This show is good, clean fun for anyone who still enjoys a Western.

This is an excellent series!!! Too bad it is only two seasons. I remember watching this series on TV when I was 5 & 6. I've been looking for this series for years, but did not know the name. Good-Wholesome-moral western. Enjoyed it....

We just finished this first season of the guns of Will Sonnett. We love Walter in almost any movie or show we see him in. This is a good wholesome show. It is a "serious" western-not really many "light-hearted" moments. Husband enjoyed totally. If you push thru the first 5-6 or so episodes on the first disk -it really gets good and interesting (i think)-but my hubby liked it from the first so....we are different. But over all--it beats alot of the stuff that is on tv nowdays. Now on to season 2Read full review...
