I bought The Feelings Book as a gift for a young lady. I find this book to be very helpful to acknowledge feelings and offers different ways to handle a variety of feelings. I would encourage everyone old and young alike to read this book. Everyone has feelings and baggage. Our reactions affect every aspect of our lives as well as affecting others. Great way to start a dialogue with your daughter

My 8year old and I read this together and then I left it with her to continue to look at on her own. I found her to be far more engaged than if I just asked her questions on my own. It was a great way to begin some new dialogue and to revisit situations in the past that have occurred.
