have used this product for years-it is my go-to for self tanning! depending on your skin tone,if you are fair to light do NOT use this darker shade! you will not be happy! they do make a lighter form of this product-try that one. as far as application -it could not be easier, open the little packet ,unfold fully,wipe as you would with a washcloth in that areas you want to tan, throwaway! smell is minimal. you must still wash your hands after using to prevent staining on your palms.Read full review

Not very impressed

I have only used one towel so far one time. It did not bring a single bit of color to my skin so it seems I will have to use several towels several days in a row to get a look of tan. I thought one towel would do better then seeing no results. Probably will not purchase again.Read full review

I keep coming back to Tan Towels. It is quick to apply, has no messy gel or cream, no bronzer. Once you get the hang of no missing any spots by using circular motions you can get a great result that starts to show in about 4 hours. You can apply another towel at that time if you want to be super dark. I use them on my face and have never had a breakout or issue with that. Tan towels the best!

I've tried all types of self tanners in the past. I was never happy with the results. Usually turned out streaky or spotty. And the smell was always nasty. Wake up all.tanned. I find the best way to keep it off my hands is too wear gloves. It does go on clear. After I go head to toe. I take the gloves off do my. hands. Then I wash my hands. Prefer Tan Towels for convenience. Color shows in a few hours. No streaking. Fades a shade from the shower so re-application is required by day 3. Tan Plus is darker than regular Tan Towels. Is natural looking & non-irritating. Tends to rub off on clothes in 'sweat areas' like neck & on bra straps. Best used at bedtime so it develops & dries thoroughly by morning. Keeping my face out of natural, damaging sun is paramount to me so Tan Towels Plus works year round to give a natural-looking tanned appearance. Shades cellulite on the body & appears to make legs look thinner. However, it tends to bring out dark spots on arms & face like the sun would do. As with any self tanner you will develop a tanner smell...l counter this by using a scented body lotion like Tresor by Lancome or something with a signature scent. (Applying it when the tanner is completely dry)...I enjoy these towels and had the spray to renew the towels, at one time, which made for a good value. (but it's hard finding a big bottle) Just make sure you exfoliate before applying for the first time, and enjoy your healthy glow!Read full review
