Tai Chi for Beginners...

This is a very clean and simple form with no doubts as to what you are suppose to do, how you are to move, etc. I found that Dr. Lam's tape (this one included) are fantastic for forms. He breaks them down to a level that me youngest boy can follow. It has improved my balance and strength to a point where my private family Dr. has even seen a noticable difference, and all with 15 minutes worth of practice each day. I highly recommend this DVD to any and all who would like to take another step from the 6-form Tai Chi to another level.Read full review...

Perfect for beginners...

I like the way the instructions are given; rather than giving the verbal instruction before the demonstration, the instructor gave the verbal instruction at the same time as one of his actors demonstrated the movement.

Unlike other DVDs, the instructions were not rushed, giving my brain time to understand the movement. On the down side, it can be too slow for somebody who only needs refresher or who wants to "get at it" right away. Otherwise, it would be perfect for serious beginners who want to get it right.Read full review...

Very good instructions

Dr. Lam is very good at showing and explaining the Tai Chi positions and breathing. This was recommended to me by a Physical Therapist as the best exercise for balance, strength, and fall prevention.
