Tiny tactical tool w/ top traits
These tiny concealable polymer keys are fantastic. I owe them my life. Or a few days and a few thousand dollars.
I recently visited Venezuela and, after a late night of drinking, found an illegal taxi to drive me back to my resort. Hearing the name gave the driver an idea that would surely yield a better outcome - grab me for a quick ransom.
Long story short, the police pulled the driver over for driving without headlights as we were getting further out of the city. I don't speak much Spanish, but from the back-and-forth and heated tone, I figured I was in the clear. They opened the back taxi door and waved me out signaling to their vehicle's back seat. Sobering up a little, I saw the cops pull the driver from his car and give him some fast and not-to-gentle street justice. They smiled to each other as they got to their car, where the larger one yanked me out of the back seat, spun me around just as I was getting to my feet, slammed my head onto the roof and proceeded to handcuff me!
He said they were taking me in for making a false complaint against the driver. He shoved me back inside head first and slammed the door. Let me tell you, the police in VZ drive junkers. The door barely closed and clanked as we bounced over every grave-sized pothole in the road back to town. I suppose their laughing ceased when i used this simple key, tucked into the slightly opened hem of my guayabara, to silently pop the lock on their second-hand cuffs and kick open the door on a busy street. I was on my way and never looked back. From my stopover in Miami, I called the resort to inform them of my early checkout, or release, as it were, and where to forward my luggage.
So, yeah, great keys! Tiny, well-made and indispensable. Buy some for friends, family, clandestine services colleagues, and your police buddies (they're always misplacing their keys, even when they're chained to their belts).

Broke on first try.
Ordered a 3 pack.
First one ,the key paddle snapped off inside the handcuff on the first try. (Plastic piece is still in the cuffs)
Second one: functions as it should and is rigid enough to function.
Third one too soft to disengage the locking mechanism. Will almost certainly break off as well.
Handcuffs used were S&W m-100.
Not something I’d trust my life with.
I’d recommend using a more rigid and durable plastic.Read full review

Good idea, poor execution!
Key broke first time used. Keys are not strong enough to unlock standard Peerless model 700 handcuffs. One of the keys would not seat deep enough to operate. This item is generally poorly made from insufficiently strong materials.Read full review

Serves one purpose, doesnt do it...
While the design is awesome it is purposed to do one thing and one thing only (open hamdcuffs) it fails... Its too small and too flexible to open standard issue peerless cuffs. Its very hard to handle while cuffed and even uncuffed it isnt strong enough to unlock, just bends and breaks. Waste of money.Read full review

Concealable, but not usable
These are a very convenient size and they can go just about anywhere, but their function is certainly lacking. I tried them on some standard S&W cuffs and got it open 1/4 times (as long as they weren't double locked). The keys become deformed after the first use--so don't rely on them for more than one use.Read full review

Plastic Key - Not hard enough to last long
This is just a plastic key toy. It broke after my 1st try and the small plastic piece stuck inside the handcuff. You need to use stronger plastic or carbon fiber reinforced plastic to harden the key. I wouldn't recommend it.Read full review

Does not work!
I tried these on S&W, ASP and peerless hand cuffs. Just twisted in till the shaft broke off. Three times! So I spend two hrs fishing out the broke piece of plastic from my 80 dollar cuffs. Don't buy this product! They flex intill they snap off in your cuff.Read full review

Escape and evade
Bought this as part of a escape and evade kit I was putting together. One is on the inner side of my boot, another under a patch I sewn on my hat with a set of lock picks, a small razor and a food pill and water tabs, the other on the back belt loop. Great product.Read full review

The Idea is great.
These little cuff keys are great in theory. The problem is they are too expensive for how reliable they are. If they could be slightly harder and cheaper in price, i would buy the buy the 100s.
