Top quality assemblies that are quick to change out.
With 134,000 miles on the original shocks and struts it was time to change out these parts. KYB makes excellent quality parts so it was an easy decision to use their products. I was happy to see they make a complete strut assembly which saves tons of time and is much safer than messing with compressing the coil springs to disassemble the old strut. I was surprised that the whole job to change out all four corners of the SUV was so quick and easy. The front strut assembly from start to finish took less than 30 minutes per corner. This includes the time to jack up the vehicle, remove the wheel, disconnect the swaybar link and brake line bracket, and remove the old strut assembly. Installing the new part and reassembly. This is a do it yourself repair with these strut assemblies. The vehicle rides and drives like new again. Don’t be fooled by the cheaper assemblies available on EBay. You get what you pay for and KYB quality is worth the money. Read full review
