Good little radio
Bad volume switch or knob hard to get low volume. Not worth the time to send back for a different one it took forever to get this one.

This is not a complain about quality, It's about safety.
I purchased another brand of this receiver, I've disassembled it in order to check the internals (transistors, ICs, capacitors, etc) but I got a nasty surprise:
There is no transformer nor switching power supply, AC line goes directly to the main board and the only isolation between AC input and the mainboard is a capacitor (check the right of pic 1)
I strongly recommend use a 6v power supply instead of the provided AC cord.Read full review...

The ShortWave Radio need a long antenna that might fit into microphone jack but it was not included thus static and no clarity in channel or sound. Some stations are solid. Some are not.
