Excellent light highly recommended
I use flashlights daily for my profession for 20+ years. I bought the AAA microstream years ago as a 2nd back up light. It’s so small and easy to carry that I have it in my jeans pocket every day with my small pocket knife. Having a light with you at all times even in the daylight is a necessity. It gets used daily. I saw the rechargeable USB version and decided to try it. It’s amazing. It’s much brighter than the AAA battery version. The two brightness modes are nice too. It works so well I gave it to my dad and ordered another one for myself. This would be a great light to keep in a pocket, purse or glove box. I’m a tough sell and don’t recommend much but this light gets my approval.Read full review...

Better lights for the money.
This light is ok for edc use and the usb charging capability is nice but in my opinion, streamlight missed the mark badly on this design. First, the low isn't near low enough. Often it's hard to tell low from high. On top of that, high is sometimes impossible to reach without multiple tries due to the horrible user interface. For its intended role I find the olight it3 eos to be easier to use, have better low/high lumen spacing, shorter in size, cheaper, slightly better clip and will take regular aaa batteries which this streamlight will not. Even though it is built well, it's a very disappointing light to me. Just having a lower setting and easier to select levels would have made this a gem.Read full review...

Tough, bright, and lightweight
Solid little flashlight for everyday use. Convenient to charge via USB. A light press of the tail button allows you to select and lock in (full press) the brightness level. Be aware that the black model starts at low power, then goes to high. The coyote brown model has the power levels reversed. This may matter depending on use (general use vs EDC). Overall, I am extremely happy with this flashlight’s features and durability.Read full review...

Very handy and bright
A rechargable flashlight only a bit larger than two traditional AA batteries but much handier and brighter. I was happy with a keychain flashlight for ready availability and direct personal use like a dark stairway but it was insufficient for real flashlight tasks like searching the yard for intruding animals upsetting the pets or for signaling. This light is still small enough to carry daily while bright enough for general use. This model comes on (default) with one click at a lower power for longer life but can be double-clicked on at full power (apparently an alternate model does the reverse).Read full review...

Amazing! Highly recommend!
Absolutely amazing flashlight for EDC. Works great, has two modes, and the best part is the rechargeable battery. I haven’t had to charge it but once so far, and it’s held for a week. I also don’t use it often so I can’t speak definitively on battery life quite yet. I’d definitely recommend this flashlight for the price. Made by a Big name in the light game! Highly recommend!!!Read full review...

Microstream flashlight is a great EDC pocket light!
Great everyday carry flashlight. It disappears into your pocket, so its always available when you need it. Plenty bright for looking around for something in the basement, or working on your car etc. Rechargable feature has been good so far. Great piece of gear for the price.Read full review...
Rechargeable is the only way to go..
This is an awesome little pen light. Bright, durable, well made and compact. Not sure if its 250 lumens bright, so hard to tell these days with high output lights being so prevalent, but its bright enough to light up any household or close quarter situation. I work in personal protection/security, and it's my back up, shirt pocket light. Having gone through so many under powered, battery pen lights, and never being happy with them, I found a keeper.
In 6 months, I imagine Streamlight will have a 500 lumen pen light, but until then, this is it.Read full review...

Great EDC lights
Bright light. Great for EDC. Hot tip: don't charge battery until light is basically dead. Helps the battery life overtime. Only downside to these lights are they are easy to loae. I have problems with them falling out out my pocket. I'm on my third one this year because I lost the other two.Read full review...

Awesome EDC flashlight
I always carry a flashlight. This on is much lighter and smaller than my previous ones. Very bright for the size. Has momentary on and high low. Perfect for EDC. Have only charged it initially so I cannot speak for the battery life or durability but very happy so far.Read full review...
