I plan on using to draw hot grease off a griddle. Hope it works. A plastic baster melted. My risk is the suction rubber melts. But I’m not going to draw fluid until it full.

The metal turkey baster should last me for years to come.
I have had two turkey basters in 40 years and they both have cracked along the seam, they were plastic. With this being a metal one, I expect to be able to pass it on to my granddaughters to use.

i like this just because of the fact that it is made of stainless steel and it will last a lot longer than the cheap plastic basters that we have bought in the past.
