The 10 rd. mag. is exact size as the 13 rd., and carries 3 less rds. The original 9rd. magazine fits the best after installing a "Pearce" extension grip for the XD-Mod. 2 .45acp. The size details were not covered and shouldn't be assumed the 10 rd. is "1 bullet size" longer. Recommend only if 10rd. magazines are the maximum limit in the state which carrier resides. Otherwise, use 9 rd. with the grip extension and carry 13 rd. for backup mag.Read full review...
