Great little generator!

Bought this for camping and for use at our off grid property near the Grand Canyon to back up our solar and wind systems and keep our batteries charged. I connected it up to our 250 gallon bulk propane tank. This quiet little generator really does a great job. Would be better if it had electric start, but it starts easily and runs quiet and I really like this little generator. Hard to beat the 500$ price tag. Seems to be just as good as other more expensive models and this model is already set up for propane as well as gasoline. Perfect for my off-grid needs!Read full review...

Bigger than expected but surprisingly quiet

I tested this on propane only so far, have not yet tried with gasoline. It started up quickly and runs surprisingly quiet. Oil fill is not very easy with the fill opening so recessed, and a bit messy. Filling until overflow is not the best way to organize oil fill imo. (minus one star) It is bigger and much heavier than the 1000W model, but still quite feasible to lift and move at 49 lbs.
Not recommended above altitude 3000 Ft and no possibility to adjust for altitude is the big negative for me. (minus one star)

Great generator

Had originally purchased the Sportsman dual fuel 2000 watt generator. It was a little noisey for my liking, but I was impressed with the look and quality. I decided to purchase this inverted generator and couldnt be more happy. Used camping for a week and it performed flawlessly powering my electric smoker for 5 hrs straight, and dvd and tv for hrs on end...and used VERY LITTLE propane (over 7 days maybe used 3 gallons tops). Its not as silent as say a Honda or Yamaha but it is pretty damn quiet. Barely hear it 20ft away. I would buy another if I ever need more power. I deffently would recomended one of these. Worth every penny. Looks nice to (manly). My friends have all been impressed and want one now.Read full review...

Meets my needs.

Runs my portable a/c. Seems to have enough power to get me through power outages. Only tested it for a shot period. If it lasts a while then it’s worth it. I love the propane use.

Great little inverter Generator

Shipping was fast. Started up on second pull using propane only. Just bleed the air out of the propane hose then start. Plugged in the fridge, modem, TV, wireless router, roku, couple led lights, small fan as a test run. Let it run about an hour then put it in the closet for future emergency power back up.Read full review...

Works great

A little louder then I thought, also was harder to start. But works great, love the idea of having fuel options.

Simple to follow instructions. Started first pull. Plenty of power under load. Relatively quiet.

Impressive

It is running my RV camper including a GREE 8,000 BTU portable AC, entertainment system plus a fridge. AC pulls about 700 watts running and fridge is piazo cooler with no compressor.
I like the looks of the generator and it's only 45lbs. and small like a suitcase. Not very noisy.
Seems cool to the touch when running all but the exahust end. I use propane so there are no smells when storing it inside the camper.

looks and runs ok but the fuel cap retainer loop was busted now i may lose the fuel cap.

the starting instructions for using propane were a little vague' the instructions should have emphasized the procedure for both gas and propane are identical and added the fact that you are required to connect the propane hose and open the flow valveRead full review...

Great little generator

Awesome generator. I've run mine only on lp gas so far, and it has performed flawlessly. I use it to charge the batteries on my camper. Last generator I owned was bigger than I needed, hard to move around easily, this new one is lite enough to carry wherever you need it, takes up little room too. My sister was able to start it, which amazes her. I chose dual fuel so the option of using what is available is there. Read full review...
