Once again, Sony Ericsson does not disappoint.
Really happy about my first big buy on eBay!
Wanted this phone for a looong time and now that it's here, I'm having a hard time putting it down.
Positive points: camera is awesome! Video as well. Wifi is magical (I had a basic phone before, with no extra features other than calling/sms). And the Android Market is really cool too, lots of cool apps available.
Negative points: very slow at times, emergency dialing is practically impossible. Sound is horrible as well when talking on the phone, I can't hear anything when walking on the street for example, even the loud speaker is not good -not to mention the handset piece.
Overall comment: well even if this phone has its negative points, I am extremely happy about it. I couldn't afford an iPhone yet, although it was on my mind, I am really happy I bought it. All the apps, the features, THE WIFI(!!!), I am amazed everyday by new things I discover about it.

Not as good as I thought it would be
I bought this phone as my daughter had one & I liked the large screen, clear voice during calls, 8.1 mp camera & so as to have ease of access to internet on the move.
All these are good but working out how to do simple things such as forwarding text messages are difficult (or maybe its just me) and not included in the instructions.
My old phone had an integrated calendar with pop-up reminders which I came to rely on but x10 requires you to have a calendar on the net which I personally don't fancy.

fast, easy, powerful camera, beautiful design.
Great phone, almost full control of you phone. fast and easy to use. the only downside i can get is the battery life. it lasts only for a day. when i first got it the battery lasted only for 4-5 hours because so many background applications were open. if you manage your applications the battery life will be extended. in general is a great phone and has an unlimited list of applications you can use.Read full review...
Good value for money but not as smooth or nice as a jailbraked iPhone.
Got two of these, a black and a white one. USB port on one of the phones is not working after 4months of use, first can not connect to computer, can not update software or transfer data, few weeks later does not take charge, so phone is useless, bought used on ebay, so no warranty I guess... will have to find out weather I can get it repaired or not. Android menu is also slow compared to iPhone and battery life is terrible without the app called Advanced Task Killer. We got two jailbraked iPhone4s now.Read full review...

Even after 1 year and several generations of Android later, the SE Xperia X10 is still a beast. With its sharp 4 inch screen, the curvaceous body and a mammoth 8MP camera its still one of the best Android phones that are available. Now that "pre-loved" ones are available for just over $ 200, they're more affordable than ever before.
Every generation of mobile phones have a trend setter, those of you who remember the Samsung V200 in the early 2000 to the SE P800 to the HTC Diamond and the HTC HD2 will agree. SEX10i is here to carry that flag forward.

better than the nokia lumia 800 no problems easy to use better quality all round stay away from the windows phones if you lke to download music free and use as your ringtone then stay away from windows phones or smart phones stick with an androyed phone.Read full review...

Very good.
The only problem with it is a short memory, but this can be solved with a good memory card. The battery lasts well enough, just knowing how to use the OS.
