Matching component and easy to install
This component is difficult to find. Sony makes a superior product, it is lightweight, very easy to install and has multiple features which make it easy for your listening pleasure.
The 5 cd changer is easy to program, play discs or songs in random order, continuous play or repeat play. The remote is very handy to skip songs or skip to another disc. You can also load another cd without stopping the current disc playing.
The only downside I can find is the remote will not power on the component, it is a manual power switch which must be depressed to turn on the unit.

Great five-disc changer with an occasional mechanical glitch
I've bought over thirty of the CDP-CE275 and CDP-CE375. I also own a major audio repair company in Southern California. We fix these up and resell them. They work well and are easy to use, except for one failure. There are five circular cut-outs in the carousel that the CDs sit in. Each cut-out is supposed to line up symmetrically under the disc clamp when the disc in question is told to play. The failure is that the cut-out won't line up symmetrically----it will stop slightly counterclockwise of correct alignment, as seen from the operator's point of view. The result is that some discs won't be clamped correctly. When this happens, they will refuse to play. Usually, this malfunction can be repaired by replacing the little belt that turns the carousel around. A new belt improves the timing. Unfortunately, to get to the belt, you need to remove the front panel so that you can unscrew the entire carousel assembly. The belt is under the carousel. That said . . . I intend to continue purchasing these because not much else goes wrong with them, and my customers are very satisfied with their performance.Read full review...

Excellent condition and works fine.
This was a replacement for an identical model I had for over 20 years, which failed. The unit is in excellent condition. No sign of wear and tear. So far this item is working fine. I have been using it a lot. It occasionally will register only four of the five CD trays when all five discs are loaded, but when I turn it off and then back on again it has recovered and does play all the discs. Despite this problem, I am satisfied with my purchase. I really missed not having a multi-disc CD player for many months. Great player after some minor service.
This is a decently made CD changer that usually just needs a little love to get going. A good shop can service one of these on the cheap and make it into a great player thats not only easy to use, but sounds amazingly good for a simple consumer grade changer.

Hard to find SONY 5-CD changer needed repairs
Product is stellar, but no longer in production. Old unit being replaced provided enough parts to repair the “new” (to me) unit and restore its functionality. ironically this is the same model cd changer that just died of old age on me six months ago. this one is a year newer than mine so there was no need to get acquainted with a different system, which was a benefit. I was pleasantly surprised when the unit arrived and I realized it was the same model as my old unit. these are good easy to use cd changers and they're sony so the quality is a given.
