Not good as I think!
Since first day install ,I had problem with the DVD tray won't open , Had to shut off the whole machine and restart to get it open, It happen once a while since then. The most frustration is NITFLIX that come with it never recognized my password so every time I want to use Netflix I need to key in my information to sing in.

Just what I was looking for
I purchased this to go with a 24" LG smart TV for the bedroom. The Sony player is compact, simple, easy to install and easy to use. The last thing I wanted was a lot of features I'd never use. This fit the bill.
We have an older Sony player in our family room that has lasted now about 6 years. Both our players deliver on picture quality and are user friendly.
I needed a compact version for the bedroom due to limited space, and this fit the bill.

A great Blue-Ray player
I just wanted a simple Blue Ray player to watch my movies and Netflix + Amazon Prime. For months I looked and kept reading discouraging reviews of people facing so many problems. I decided to just go ahead and give this one a try because I trust and love Sony and it was at a great price!
When it came, I was surprised to find it compact and small which I love since it doesn't take up much shelf space and its also super light-weight.
It was super easy to install. Literally took me 5 minutes to get it hooked to my T.V. and internet. I thought it was a huge surprise and quite hilarious that the remote automatically connected to my T.V. too (it's a 32 inch Sony). That was totally an added bonus. So far it has played beautifully for me. I love it! The only problem I have encountered that I never had before is the sound sometimes going off when either I'm watching Netflix or my own movie. (I have no idea if this is the blue-ray player or the HDMI cable? This has never happened before so it has to be one of those two) I noticed that this problem happens when I pause and leave it on pause for a few minutes and then when i come back and press play, the sound is gone.
Other than that, I love my blue ray player. If I ever need to replace it, I will for sure re-order this one.Read full review...

Great for discs, spotty on apps
It works great for any DVDs or BluRay discs I throw at it, but the apps could use some work. I don't know whether it's the apps themselves or the WiFi antenna in the player, but it usually takes about five minutes of being on before you can use an app without an "Unable to load internet content" message. The Netflix app for this device is also outdated, as it uses the old rating system.Read full review...
