Easy and amazing

The instruction inside is very to understand. It is super light weighted and very comfortable to wear for a long time but Bose QC35 is still slightly more comfortable than 1000x in longtime use in my opinion. The headphone itself has a very good base and a pretty good treble as well which QC35 is not able to deliver. You can't use the NFC function if you have an iPhone. One thing to point out is that the head padding. This Sony headphone uses a leather-like material while Bose QC35 uses something like a sponge. It's not a good idea to use QC35 to workout since it sucks lot of your sweat in and that's not good. Hope this review helps you. With lots of additional hand gestures functions, I think 1000x is clearly the winner here.Read full review...

The birthday present that almost went sour...

So this was going to be a birthday present for my son but when I got them early I decided to give them a test drive before he got them and they sounded good but off like one side was louder than the other and the only thing I could think it was were the drivers that and it had some white substance on the back of the head phones that wouldn't even come off with rubbing alcohol, I'm glad I got these a week early. But besides that fast shipping so that's good, all other features work as they are supposed to, I think the image for these have been doctored a bit because the sides of the head phones show wear and the headband shows slight peeling, enough that you can see the foam. I know these were used but the way they described them it didn't seem THIS used.Read full review...

Great headphones for price

The noise cancelling wasn't quite what I expected it to be in the sense that you could still hear certain sounds when there was no music playing, however once you started playing music almost all sounds were drowned out. The headphones are very lightweight and have a lot of great features, my only complaint is at times they can be a bit hot. That being said, this may be due to the fact that I am a person who tends to run hot anyways so my tendency to sweat may be the main factor at play here.Read full review...

Excellent sound quality and awesome voice cancelling

First, this headphones are not Beats, These Sony play in another league, their sound quality is awesome, you can even listen music at really low volumen because of their incredible noise cancelling. Battery is really good, over 20 hours listening at medium volumen. The design is robust and modern.
I use them at the gym and i can assure that they are pretty confortable and light weight.
One thing that bothered me is the controls, they are tactil and they took me some time to get to learn how to use them.

Great sounding headphones; you can feel it on after after four hours

I love these headphones. The noise canceling is really good. I haven't tried it on a plane yet though. The sound quality is all around great and has the perfect amount of bass. Bluetooth is great, easy to connect and has a good distance to them. battery life is also about 18 hours with noise canceling on throughout so that is also good for me. I only have to charge it weekly. Read full review...

Very pleased!!

I had been looking for a nice pair of blue tooth headphones so I went to the big box stores a tried all they had. In the end it came down to Sony and Bose. Both products were excellent (the sonys are a little heavier) but in the end there was so little difference in quality. I chose Sony for the simple fact that I was able to get a refurbished pair on eBay(they looked new to me no signs of wear ,perfect condition) for a little more the half the cost. I have been using them for about a month with no problems. I've had them on for extended periods of time with no discomfort and I wear glasses. There is a little bit of a learning curve there are a lot of features. when you first start using them but once figured out it becomes second nature. Excellent product. Five stars for sure!!!!Read full review...

Great features for noise cancelling headphones

The good: I love the features on it -- 1) cup the right ear and noise cancelling stops and outside sound is amplified to hear people speaking (airline pilot updates, flight attendant serving and asking questions, wife making a comment or two). 2) Swipe up right ear cup to increase volume, tap to pause, swipe down to decrease volume and swipe across to change music selection. 3) Great sound and noise cancelling feature -- have used it about ten times on flights with crying babies. 4) No issues with cracking near the headband and ear cup as reported elsewhere in reviews. It has been very durable. 5) Comes in a nice hard case.

The bad: You have to pair the device with the source (ipad, macbook, iphone) every time you switch to another. Not a deal breaker just a small inconvenience.

Exactly what I was looking for...

These are lightweight and sound terrific. ANC works great! Ear pads are comfortable and seal very well. The controls are fairly easy to navigate while wearing as well. I haven't compared them to the Bose set, but these are light-years ahead of the cheaper cans...especially the noise cancelling and sound quality. Very satisfied with purchase!Read full review...

Who needs BOSE!?!?! THESE Sony headphones ARE WAY BETTER!!

Have no doubt, get there!I did a LOT of research before getting these and glad i did... by far way better than the over rated BOSE when it comes to sound quality and features! Noise canceling is the same as BOSE, but in some cases better as it has a SMART feature analyzing your environment and adjusting to it.. It also has an app to sync to your phone for more functions ... I left best for last.... the touch shut off noise canceling feature is THE BEST! no need to take OFF the headphone to just hear someone briefly (i.e. what would you like to drink?)Read full review...

These are great

If you’re not an expert and need over $500 headphones, between the beats studio 3, Bose QC 35’s 1 and 2 and these.... get these. I’ve done hours of research and these are the best in options comfort and noise canceling. If you want a cool look and a little harder bass, but don’t care about a lot of features then get the beats. If you want the best noise canceling then Bose wins, BARELY. THESE ARE PERFECT FOR ME.Read full review...
