Thrilling Game

Soldier of Fortune is a very unique game that never gets old. It is a very violent game and the gore is excessive so it is not for the squemish and sensitive to violence. The game is both comical at times but challenging and engaging. Play with caution if you dislike strong violence.Read full review...

Hell Yeah!

One hell of a gory game for it's time. This game was released in 2000 or 2001 or something like that but it's still a kick-ass game. It's pretty gory, linear, but still fun and isn't like a war shooting game like Soldier of Fortune 2. It's more like Call of Duty 4, every mission is different... Sort of... It's a run-and-shoot-everything-you-see type of game but it ranges from subway tunnels to snowy levels to... Well you get the idea. Story's good but it's something we've seen before. It's still considered one of the bloodiest games today besides Soldier of Fortune II. Violence was pretty realistic for the time it was released.Read full review...

Soldier of Fortune

I bought this game based off of the seller's synopsis as well as what I'd read on Gamespot- what I failed to do, was check the release date of this game. When it was released, it was touted as a really good game, gameplay and graphics being what they were at the time, this rang true. However, the game definitely shows its age now- the graphics are to the point where it looks like the old Doom - remember the first-ever pc game? When it first came out, it was, dare I say, well ahead of its time in terms of graphics? Not the case now- and that's pretty much where you're at with Soldier of Fortune. The graphics were such that I lost interest in the game maybe 15 minutes into playing it. If you like 'classic' (aged) games, you might want to give this a try- for what its worth, it was a good game in its day.Read full review...

Soldier of Fortune for PS2

Ok, so it's lame but I had fun playing it. I'm the only one who has finished the game at my house, everyone else has found it boring. Graphics are lame, very unrealistic but was somewhat challenging. Don't spend a lot of money on it and don't get excited about it but it will you something to play while waiting for the next great War Game.Read full review...
