Great for cutting fabric.
I'm so excited! The Sizzix Big Shot Plus will be terrific for cutting fabric. I also bought the Bigz XL 25" cutting pads so I can cut 8 jelly roll strips at a time . I can also use the strip die to cut 2 1/2 squares. I tested it and it worked beautifully and the dies are really reasonably priced. My friend has the Accuquilt Go and the Sizzix dies are at least half the price. However, you can buy the adapter G to use the Accuquilt dies on the Sizzix if you have access to those. I have a friend I can borrow from. Yeah! This is the first TOY that I have purchased but I think it will end up being a necessity. Especially if you do charity quilts, etc. A real time saver. It is very easy to use, even if you suffer from arthritis and there are videos on utube you can watch to help you.I just bought the Sizzix, not the Sizzix staerted kit because I wanted to order specific dies.
Even better, it was delivered several days before I expected so it was a great surprise.

This machine does not work as well as the regular big shots. If you follow the guide for cutting with the different plates, it is incorrect. I can not get my embossing folders to go thru by the instructions. Much easier to use the regular big shots.Read full review...

I love this machine, first time owing one and its great! Only one problem though, I can't get cutters from Sizzix itself , they do not ship to Canada , which is unfortunate . Love the Big Shot Plus
It works great. Easy to use. I now have a larger area on which to cut larger dies plus I can cut more than one die at a time because of the size.
