Amazing Build Quality w/ Unique Features
This monopod is really a work of art. It's build quality is superb, and it is clear that the people at Sirui put a lot of insightful thought into making this monopod. In fact, it functions as a tripod or a monopod, which to me is very useful for a variety of things. The tripod is built extremely well, with solid quality materials, and the legs are foldable (upwards) if you simply need a monopod. I purchased mine for my Ursa Mini 4.6K, and I will say that I am close to the weight limitations for complete stability in tripod mode. The VH-10 fluid head is pretty amazing as well, and the counter balance works extremely well for distributing the weight in this way, and thus I am able to manage quite well.
Another really cool feature is that you can detach the monopod from the tripod legs and use the tripod legs as a shirt and firm stand. Probably my favorite aspect of this product...
There is also a functional component of the monopod that allows you to open up 360 degrees of panning tailored to your own tension. This along with their patented tilt mechanism gives you unlimited versatility for getting great and unique shots.
Ultimately this thing is a beast, and worth the money without a doubt. Of course if there's a different head you prefer, you can always run with that because of the quick release plate system.
