Great radio, lots of features

I love the radio. The sound quality is better than the Roady2 receiver this one replaced. My favorite feature is ability to "rewind" the playback up to 30 minutes. A close 2nd is jumping back to previous channel by pushing one button which feature the Roady2 does not have. I bought the remote control for this radio too. Even though i use my radio solely in my vehicle sometimes I use the remote to change channels because the remote has all the buttons the radio does. The remote works seamlessly with with Onyx Plus radio. It is advantageous that I don't have to touch the receiver to change stations. The mount is pretty stable, nevertheless since it is mounted in a vehicle it is easier to use one hand with the remote rather than two hands one to hold radio the other to push buttons especially when driving. Well worth the purchase

Very happy with the Onyx Plus. Easy to program, love the tmix feature which scans your saved music channels to give you an exclusive music mix.

Only issue I had was very minor. I use the fm radio in my car to listen to XM as I don't have an Aux plug in. The unit comes default for Aux use with the FM settings greyed out in the menu. The manual I downloaded online didn't tell you this nor how to deselect the Aux plug in and select FM. I had to call support and the fix was easy as it's in the factory default settings area. It would have saved some time and frustration if it were listed in that section of the manual.

great update to the Onyx

Makes my Sirius look more up to date with the addition of album graphics in the background. The option to pause and rewind are also a great plus to this radio.

This is an upgrade from my Express-EZ (model # 136-4267) for me the Onyx+ was a plug, activate,and enjoy the music. I downloaded the manual I suggest saving it as an pdf (100 pages) My only grip is the $15 fee from SirrusXM.Read full review...
