Very linear

Okay, so time isn't linear in this game. It's a pretty cool story line. The gameplay alters between puzzling in which you manipulate objects to get through a room, and some pretty fun, sometimes very hard, shooting scenes.
The linear aspect of the game is aided by a function in the game called "time ping." Activating it shows footprints of where you walk in the near future (It shows you where you are suppose to go). Aside from the singular path you have to walk, there are alcoves in the environment, spaces aside from the main path, where you need to venture first to pick up items such as E99 technology. If you do not find these items before proceeding through the game, at some random point a door will shut behind you and you cannot go back for items.Read full review...

a little time if you please

You play the part of Captain Nathaniel Renko, a modern-day military operative sent by the U.S. to investigate the abandoned, Cold War-era research island of Katorga-12.you find yourself back in the 1950s.to where the future is screwed up from going back.you must take the time in this game to set things right in the future by being in the past.you obtin the time manipulation device which alters time and space.with this you can age a person or object tilo it withers away completely.even though you have a time travel device you stay in 1950s and never really go anywhere.this game is still not that bad of a game and is a fine first person shooter type.Read full review...

Singularity PS3

Singularity was a great game to play if you want something with an interesting story and game play. It is not a very long game but is a must for any First Person Shooter fan and gamers who like a nice twist on history. I didn't play much of the online feature but I am used to something a little different. I didn't think it was anything great but I am used to games like Modern Warfare 2 and Battlefield. If there was a sequel I would definitely give it a try.Read full review...

Make a sequel for me and I'll buy it!!!!

This game has is one of the best past and futuristic shooters that I have ever played! The use of the TMD (Time Manipulation Device) is awsome and is your best ally throughout the entire game. You can reverse time on certain objects and make em like new. Or you can shoot its powerful ray at an enemy, and turn them to dust. The enemy AI is very challenging especially when on the hardest difficulty, my choice and the graphics that take place during the use of your TMD are flashy and definately next gen console power. Singularity or should I say Bioshock ripoff?

I finished the game in two days. The game is very good all around, graphics, story, action, etc. But it is so similar to Bioshock: weapons, powers, points system, in game recording messages, etc. There is no unique feature in this game, everything has been done before in other FPS. If you get it for a good price its worth buying...not more than $25 IMO.Read full review...

Better off with Bioshock

If you liked any of the BioShock games and can get this game at a discount price I would recommend it. If you answer no to any of these two question then I would avoid getting this game. It plays out almost exactly like BioShock with it's story telling, flash backs, power enhancements, and it even has audio tapes scatter through the game to listen to found what happen at the fictitious Russian island Katorga-12. Although it uses the same graphic engine as BioShock, it doesn't look as crisp. I like the control layout, it's similar to the Call of Duty style with the exception of the Melee attack being R2 rather than R3. The story brings back the cold war era, Mother Russia vs USA. It's a descent game, it'll help hold you off until the next BioShock arrives.Read full review...

Easily one of the top 10 games you can play on PS3

I played this game once when it came out and loved it. I picked it up on ebay years later, just because it has such a great, intriguing story line. It's like Bioshock meets Cold War Russia with some zombie-like creatures running around while you TIME TRAVEL!. It has a conjunction of some really great sci-fi elements while remaining a really solid first person shooter with great re-play value.Read full review...

GREAT GAME, GREAT PRICE, and a GREAT ADVENTURE!

This game is definitely worth the ebay price I paid as this game is a cross between Bioshock and Resistance with its own spin to make it a fun yet challenging experience that any gamer who likes FPS games should try. Though I will admit it started off a little slow...the game evolves into an adventure with time manipulation, puzzle solving and run and gun action that keeps players coming back for more. Set on the island of Katurga 12 it gives a science fictional spin on the cold war, the Russian perspective of the world in the 50's as well as as sort of what if history based on events that transpire in the game. If you are looking for something to occupy your time, entertain you and not put a big dent in your pocket then I highly recommend Singularity as an option!Read full review...
