Great product & value, but I haven't figured out how to get the most of it yet.
The Kilo 1K is a good product. Clear, high quality optics, good for short to mid range estimations as advertised. It's a bit light and plasticky but functionally has a quality feel. Does angles for bowhunters. Controls are simple, display is clear in daylight. However, I'm finding it hard to rangefind stationary objects in the nearby field (trees, sheds, even cars). Tried different settings but haven't figured it out yet. Objects with high reflectivity (limestone walls) seem to be no problem. Maybe I'm doing it wrong, but for me there's been a bit more than zero learning curve to figure out how to get the most out of it. Good for the price
It’s not the best or the worst you could have. It works great for what it is intended for. Easy to use. The color of the numbers and lettering is black. It would be nice if it has options to change it to red or other colors. But that’s what you could expect for the price you pay. But I do like it. The case it came in is cool. Best Rangefinder for the money period
My competition rangefinder is a Sig Kilo 2000 but for hunting or almost every application this Sig 1000 is it. Crystal clear after a one time diopter focus. It ranges in the target area, other rangefinder pickup all sorts of intermediate stuff with a different range every time the Sig does not, just works perfectly. I have a Sig 2000 because competing we shoot to a mile. But for everyday hunting and shooting this is great and a lot less money to purchase.Read full review...
