Disturbingly Awesome. Del Toro is commanding master assassin.

This is a great film. One of the best of the genre in years. It's heavy. Hardcore. Brutal and enlightening. I also got the soundtrack which is haunting. Five stars two thumbs up !

This movie has you on the edge of your seat the entire time. Very well played to the point that it almost seemed like a documentary and felt as if you were really there in the action. Benicio del Toro is phenomenal in a role with few but powerful lines in a movie that shines a light on an otherwise unknown or overlooked police action. Engaging, emotional and unforgettable

I would have given this movie only two stars if weren't for the top notch acting of Brolin and del Toro and the realistic plot. Emily Blunt was o.k, Daniel Kaluuyas' role was pointless. I was expecting more action based on other reviews.

A great movie about the crime lords of Mexico and South America. Benicio del Toro is a fantastic assassin who is after the crime lord who killed his family. Emily Blunt is an American police officer who volunteers to go to Mexico, having no idea what she is getting into.
Josh Brolin is the head of a Task Force that breaks all the rules in the book. Fantastic movie.

Engaging right from the start & full of plenty of twists & turns, action & surprises. Great acting by all! Excellent look at the drug wars & whats happening behind the scenes with the cartels & attempts to control them. Emily blunt plays her part to the hilt as an FBI agent with integrity & guts.
