Simular to my old Sharp which I loved.

This is my third Sharp Calculator in 42 years. The first two held up for a long time. I do like the paper feed on my old calculator better than this one but I couldn't find the same type of feeder on a Sharp and I wanted Sharp. I do not need the "tax" keys but they are on the right side and out of my way. I also liked the on and off switch better on my old calculator because it was on the side and I could easily just "flip it" on and off. Love the keyboard because it is the same size as my old calculator and easy to use. Also wanted a calculator that printed both in black and red. All in all, since they don't make the Sharp calculator like my old one, I'll get used to this one and will probable like it just as well. I looked at a lot of calculators and decided on this one because it is the closest I could find in a Sharp that worked like my old Sharp. Not sorry I bought it.Read full review...

A bad purchase.

The product was complete junk. I had to put a new ink ribbon in it and it still does not work well. If I had seen this in person I would never have purchased it. The best all-in-one recordkeeping calculator out there!

The primitive adding machines we used in my high school accounting class were a far cry from this gem of a calculator! I have a Canon calculator mouse that is handy for a quick calculation now and then when working on-line. The Sharp calculator is a perfect all-in-one machine that has several outstanding features. I love the time/date stamp since the hard copy tape printouts can be filed away by date in a folder until monthly reconciliation or tax time. It's also useful for time and billing purposes. The dual red/black printing ribbon is great for distinguishing debits and credits. The display is large and easy to read. The perfectly sized keys are designed just right for slow or rapid entry. The materials used to construct this portable but sturdy machine are top drawer quality. I find this Sharp calculator essential to the productivity of my law office. Easy to use calculator

I’ve used this type calculator for many years just get a newer version when needed. My fingers know where all the buttons are. 😊 wouldn’t use any other. The info said the calculator was new - open box…it seemed to have all the necessary new product packaging but the ribbon in the calculator had been used a lot it appeared. Very Pleased!

This is my second one. The first one I use at work and is a hand-me -down but I still love it. This one is dark grey and black and looks great in my home office my with it's dark wood desk and cabinets. I've used 2 of these machines over the last 25 years. This newest model has a feature for calculating time cards. Boy oh boy, that sure would have been handy way back when.

Very solid under heavy use

I was looking for a good desk model calculator and this one fits the bill. It is quiet and heavy enough to not move around during heavy use. The display is nice and big and clear.
