Good headphones. Demented positioning of on/off button.

Extremely comfortable for use for long sessions. Excellent sound. But with power on off button located between volume up and volume down button, you WILL turn the sound on and off inadvertently many times when attempting to adjust volume!

I ended up re-engineering them, installing and soldering into the circuit a button in a different place, and removing the offending button.

This was not trivial, given how these were made, but it made them a lot more useful.Read full review...

Could have been but was not...

Soooo many good things that were ruined by a few bad designs. You have to reconnect the headphones to the transmitter every time you charge them which it turns out is quite often despite the good battery life. The problem is the tiny buttons (and im only 30 with 15/20 vision and the hands of god) are flat and bunched together which makes turning it off more of a gamble. A simple sliding switch would have been perfect because then you would'nt turn them off when trying to change volume or vice versa. Other than that the range is awesome and the sound is flat (though for watching TV a little more bass would be better than a flat response). All in all I would research another pair with better buttons at the very least and maybe ones that do not disconnect everytime you charge them.Read full review...

Senheiser is best

This is my 2nd Sennheiser headphones . I also had Sharper Image and Pat Boone's "over the head.
Sennheiser sound quality is MUCH better.
ALSO COMFORT: (the Shaarper Image would'nt SIZE-DOWN to fit my head)
Never took the other one out of the box beczsuse I was given another Sennheiser!

The only flaw I can see is they're loose enough to fall off my head if I tip my head down, which is better than being so tight they give me a headache!Read full review...

Very pleased with the price/performances of these headphones

My purchase of the Sennheiser HDR 160 headphones may not be the typical type of purchase. Indeed, I was familiar with this particular headphone since my wife and I already had one such set of headphones. We shared it at night when one of us was slow to fall asleep. With more leisure time on our hands, we decided to get a second one. Therefore, one should not read anything special about the choice of a Sennheiser: the choice was already made in the past. They work OK for the money.

I have 3 headphones and 2 transmitters. They work OK for me. Don't bend over
or they may fall off your head. I had to put a rubber band around them to keep them on my head. The material deteriorates over time. You can replace the ear pads, but i had to wrap the headband with tape.Read full review...
