Warning! Disturbing content!

Lisa Gardner is a great writer, and I have read everything she has written. In this book, however, I think she goes too far in describing the victim assault. It is particularly disturbing because the victims are children. I felt the
in-depth description of the victim assaults was over the top - too much detail. Once I began skipping over these section (they were in italics), I was able
to finish the book. Please, Lisa, leave out the graphic details! The detective findings will suffice.Read full review...

Lisa Gardner DOES IT AGAIN

"Say Goodbye" is a thrill seeking, suspense that I couldn't put down once I started (as all of her books). I find that the research incorporated allows her books to be more believable. Lisa Gardner stated in her Acknowledgments "Of all the novels I've written, this book is by far the most violent, and yes, it was difficult to write." I appreciate that of all the writers out there, Lisa would be the one to touch on this subject, she knows how much detail is needed to help with the imagination without going over the top. I would recommend this book to anyone over the age of 17.Read full review...

Over the Top but....

This was the first book I'd read of L.G. Since then I've read all of her books but this one haunts me. It's an excellent, exciting, sad, well so many emotions were felt. It touched my heart. I agree with the other reviewer in that it may not be suitable for people under 17. I've read it twice and it was still a page turner. I got more of an understanding of certain aspects of the book the second time around.Read full review...

This is an excellent author with page-turning work but she DOES NOT need to use God's name in vain (the G D word) in her writing. The book would be awesome without it. Thank you.

I recommend Lisa Garder to any reader!

When I saw that Say Goodbye was available on eBay I had to have it. Lisa Gardner is a great writer and once I started reading the book I couldn't put it down until I made it to the end.
