Excellent Card, Great Value. Big Size

First off, let me just say...
This is the best power for money card on the market right now, Nvidia just released a GT450 which rivals this card but still the 5770 rings out to be better value.
My second point about the card is that it truly is huge... I've had some pretty big cards before (even my old 7900GTX KO was big) but this one is huge, it takes up the "height" of two cards, and its length is almost the entire length of the board. That being said, the build construction is top-knotch, nothing about the card feels flimsy or out of place, they did their job in designing a high quality piece of machinery.
This card is a power-hog and you do need the seperate power cable directly from you PSU to run this baby. I have a 620W power supply and it runs the card with no problems, the wattage estimator says it needs a system with 430w powersupply (bare minimum with an AMD phenom II processor, 1 HDD, etc) but I'm sure a 500W PSU would do the trick as well.
Since the card uses a lot of power, it does tend to run on the hotter side of the component world. During heavy game play (Crysis, Dirt 2, etc) I have seen the card reach the mid 50s and although the card does function properly under these temps, my case temperature does increase by a couple degrees due to the card. My suggestion is to get a case exhaust fan and stick it right under the GPU to help alleviate some heat.
As I mentioned, this card will play Crysis, Dirt 2, Halo, CounterStrike Source, HL2, Call of Duty, etc with no problems and on almost max every setting. Dirt 2 looks fantastic by the way, DX11 is fantastic.
If you really felt the need to, you could indeed Crossfire this card with another 5770, I don't feel the need to spend such money but even at that setup the cost would be less than 300 bucks.
All in all, this is a great card, it does what I need it to do very well, and since I got an extra $20 off from the MIR the card cost me only $120.00 so the price vs. performance really is 2nd to none.

Awesome card!

Wow I didn't expect much when I bought this card but it has suprised me! It runs every game I have at the highest settings including crysis. The monitor we use it on has a resolution of 1680x1050 and we max it out to that. So if you are in the market for an affordable card then this is it, will run eyefinity and directx 11! Highly recommended, you will not be disapointed at all.Read full review...

Product works as listed on a Mac Pro Model 1,1. Very quiet and worked on Mac OS X 10.6.8 without needing any extra drivers. Great upgrade for any old Mac Pro system.
