Excellent Reading Device

This works very well, in full screen mode, with both Barnes & Noble, and Amazon Reader apps. Terrific for those of us who need large text for easy reading.

It's a great large-screen TV substitute, too.

The battery charges very quickly, much more so than I would have guessed, three hours or so tops, even from an under 40% or so charge remaining.

I wish it had the standard Android charger, though. The custom charger is kind of a hassle, and really shouldn't be necessary. The manufacturer had no reason to deviate from standard.Read full review...

It's BIG!!!!!!

Love this tablet. It's huge which is what I wanted for watching my slingbox on the treadmill. It also works great for everything else. Quick and responsive just like my Galaxy Tab 3S. GIgging Musician's best friend!

As a professional musician, this is the tablet that I've been waiting for! I can store all of my sheet music in one place, and with an inexpensive app, have it all ready to go for any gig. I can easily view two pages of music side-by-side on the screen -- great for performing. Turning pages is as simple as a finger flick. I never need music clips or lights -- my music stays put and is always perfectly lit. I do recommend installing an anti-glare film for outdoor gigs.

I was initially concerned about the carry piece that is attached to the back but find that it isn't a problem at all! The flat position fits nicely on a music stand, and the standing position is great when playing piano.

What a Fine Tablet!

Great for TV or video

Not a tablet that is very portable, it's size allows for watching TV or video. The picture is great, the sound is good, and the battery life is better than expected considering the screen size.

Absolutely LOVE this tablet

No, it's not for traveling. It's not flat like a Samsung 10" tablet, Amazon Fire, i-pad, or whatever else. It's thick and the stand is just weird.
That being said, it's not really meant for traveling, it's meant for desktop use.
Beyond that, this tablet is amazing! It's basically got access to everything Android, so it's a giant phone, without being a phone. I have the 32gb version, going on probably 4 years of use, bought used, still as good as the day I got it.
The sound quality is not what I would call amazing, but I didn't buy it for that. It is better than my 10" Samsung, but not as good as a decently priced bluetooth speaker.

You can use either a bluetooth keyboard, or, like I did, buy a $4 adapter that plugs in to MicroUSD port with a USB outlet/card reader, and then plug in a regular USB keyboard.

The MicroUSB port is NOT the charging port!! It uses a regular round power supply plug in.

I have multiple bluetooth things paired with mine, have been able to use pretty much every app on Android store that I've needed to use, and so far, it's never skipped a beat. It is used daily! Vs my desktop, I can do 99% of the stuff I need on this and it does it way faster.

Uses for mine:
Word processing, email, browsing, music/video editing, security camera viewing, Amazon Prime Video, remote desktop(VPS) access, and much more.

It is by far one of the best computer purchases I've ever made.

Samsung Galaxy view

I absolutely love my tablet so far. I wouldn't consider it to be a true tablet it's more like a laptop without the keyboard. But that's what I wanted. I can watch all of my shows and they are very vivid and in high definition. The battery doesn't last extremely long but that's because I use it for Netflix and hulu. Not for use with mobile sheets pro

This machine is fine for its advertised purpose. It does not work well as I had hoped it might for a performance musician.

I have a Samsung Note Pro 12.5 inch which is a great machine. It's only drawback is size. Musicians need larger. The Galaxy View is a good size, but will not function with the necessary software.Read full review...
