Lots of Power and Features with this Tablet

Surprised at the quality of this unit being manufactured in 2012!!! Originally this unit was over $800+ when new...and now I can see why for myself. I had to use the update software from Samsung that took about a half hour to download and install but now I can access a lot of different things I could not do without the updates. Be sure to update your tablet when you get it. Have ordered a Samsung keyboard case and power cord for this puppy. So far I am pleased with this tablet. It's a cell phone and a small laptop in one. I like the WiFi hookup as I don't need another cell phone bill....and a cell phone screen is too small for me to properly watch movies or TV on. Great product for the price.

I called myself researching this tablet rather well but found I did not do as good a job as I thought. I bought this tablet because I wanted a 10" and wanted the dual cameras. Unfortunately, I neglected to notice that with the android 4.0+ operating system flash was no longer supported. So no watching online videos or playing any flash games online. That was disappointing to discover. Hopefully one day Adobe will reconcider their decision not to support the Android and give us back the opportunity to watch online videos and play flash games. Another thing I neglected to notice is that the rear camera does not have a flash. So no picture taking in low light or night time. I also missed the fact that there is no USB port and no hdmi port. Those are the 4 drawbacks I found with this tablet, (those being the reason for the overall 4 stars instead of 5). Otherwise I am totally satified and glad I chose the Samsung Galaxy Tab2 10.1". tablet. It works great, nice clear screen definition, takes nice pictures, sounds good and performs really well. Great buy for an entry level Jelly Bean Tablet...

I've owned this tablet for little more than a year and for the most part, it was a solid purchase. People sometimes say "Bigger is better", i wish i had purchased the 7. The 10.1 is great at what it does, but personally, the 7 would have been better suited for some of my outdoor activities.
I like to hike in the summer months here in the Adirondacks, and there is a great app called Backpacker GPS Trails Pro for Android, as well as an iOS offering, and the app allows you to log your hikes, and view your hike stats online as well as a plug-in for Google Earth. For that, i wish i has bought the smaller / lighter one.
I am very pleased with this product for it provides everything i needed in a tablet at the time of purchase. Fit and finish are great. Capacity is good,even though i later bought a 32GB Micro-SD for increased storage and for a place to store my roms. Battery life

Great tablet. Would be great if the battery would last a little longer between charges. Has a fair size screen and much of the power is used in lighting it. All in all, a good unit.

Great purchase for the money

I have purchased four of these units and everyone has worked perfectly and are easy to maintain. I have added each one of them to a Windows network and use them as a Windows resource which is very helpful in my business. I had tried using a fruit version of this product and it could not do the things I needed to do, it could not be added as a Windows resource on a Windows network. A gem of a Tablet with easy navigation, choice and an AWESOME price tag.

I bought the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 because I wanted a Tablet that was Android and would allow me to do a lot more than the Apple Ipad. The Galaxy is sleek,light-weight, very user-friendly and easy to navigate. There are a ton of free Apps using the provided Google Play Store and Samsung Apps. It also has a Kobo reader and again there are some Free books for download. I have yet to have any dislikes about this product.

At my place of work we use the Apple Ipad and I can honestly say that it isn't nearly as great as the Samsung Galaxy. Most Apps have to be paid for and you are limited to Apple products. The Galaxy allows so much more choice for the user.

I would highly recommend this Tablet to anyone looking to buy one. Many of my friends who have seen and tried my Tablet love it also and have said when purchasing they would be buying one.Read full review...
