galaxy s5 T-mobile

I bought this phone coming from a galaxy s4. As far as performance, I wish there was more ram in this phone, and I feel like it is the same as the s4 with a weird new usb charging cable. I don't feel like it is that much fast because there is not enough on board ram to see any real improvement from the s4. There is only 1.66gb ram which is even less than the 2gb the s4 has. I do like the phone, the lte makes it super fast to download stuff but I feel like the phone is not as fast as it should be given a quad core and 2.5ghz processor. battery seems to be better than s4 and images and graphics also seem to be a bit better also. I do like the phone but wish it had double the ram, because then maybe I wouldn't get into bottle-necked situations when different apps are fighting over resources.. but overall great phone, much better than any phone you could buy 5 years ago...Read full review...

Not As Good As Before

This is the 4th or maybe 5th Samsung Galaxy 5s I've owned. I like it because (i) you can access the battery and SIM card, (ii) it's the right size and lightweight, (iii) has more features than I need, (iv) compared to other phones, it's relatively inexpensive, and (v) I know how to use it. I would say, however, the one I just bought is not as good as the ones I've previously owned; and cost more. The touch screen is not as responsive. The device seems to have a mind of its own - opens applications by itself. And . . I'm finding it harder to customize - maybe the software is updated so that Samsung and its partners are in greater control. I'm not sure whether these issues are because the phone is of lesser quality than ones I've previously owned, or it's new software. I doubt that my next phone will be a 5s.Read full review...
